Who we are
Kootenay Valley Community Church is a church of The Salvation Army that has been active in Cranbrook and the East Kootenay since 1907. We were located in various locations in the downtown until 2004 when the new Church, Community Life Center and Thrift Store opened at 533 Slater Road.
Serving others through faith and action
We offer a range of programs and services that support both spiritual and everyday needs, including worship services, community meals, thrift store services, and community assistance programs.

Majors Rick and Jennifer Robins
As Corps Officers, the Majors provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care while supporting the life and ministry of the church. They work alongside staff, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen programs, care for individuals and families, and serve the wider community with compassion and purpose.
