The Salvation Army gives hope and support to vulnerable people today and everyday in 400 communities across Canada and more than 130 countries around the world.

Kootenay Valley Community Church is a church of The Salvation Army that has been active in Cranbrook and the East Kootenay since 1907. We were located in various locations in the downtown until 2004 when the new Church, Community Life Center and Thrift Store opened at 533 Slater Road.

We exist to proclaim Jesus Christ in our community and around the world. Our church family focuses on love for God and for others and this is the foundation of our outreach to the community.
